Broken side window, shattered back glass or a smashed quarter window? Reyes Glass Group replaces car window glass where your vehicle is parked: at home, at work or wherever it happened. We cover cars, trucks, SUVs, vans and work vehicles across California and Texas.
Glass we replace
- Door glass: front and rear side windows
- Back glass: rear windshields, including heated (defroster) glass
- Quarter and vent glass: the small fixed windows behind the doors
- Sliding rear windows on pickup trucks
Why side and back glass can’t be repaired
Windshields are laminated, so a chip can often be filled. Side and back windows are usually tempered glass, made to break into small pieces for safety. Once it breaks, it has to be replaced. Some newer vehicles use laminated side glass for quieter cabins; we check which one your vehicle has when we look up the part.
What happens when we replace door glass
We remove the inner door panel, vacuum the broken glass out of the door and the cabin, install the new glass on the window regulator, align it so it seals, and test it all the way up and down. If the regulator was damaged too, we can repair it in the same visit.
Real job: Chevy Silverado rear door glass
Our technician took the door panel off, cleared out the old glass and installed new rear door glass on site.

Break-ins and insurance
Glass broken in a break-in, by road debris or by weather is usually covered by comprehensive insurance, and your deductible decides what you pay. We can help you start the claim and work with your insurer. See how insurance covers glass.
Until we get there
Cover the opening with plastic and tape if rain is coming, keep valuables out of sight, and don’t slam the door, since loose glass can still fall. If you send a photo of the glass and the vehicle’s VIN, we can usually confirm the part faster.
